After undergoing double knee surgery, the Australian rider displayed his dedication and commitment to make a comeback in the sport. Starting his career in 2005, Haussler made an immediate impact with a stage win at the Vuelta A Espana. Since then, he has won a stage at the Tour de France and completed 12 grand tours and 37 classics. Haussler can cover many roles, but his wealth of experience in cycling and coming through adversity through injury makes him a big role model to the younger riders in the team.
