Sabiñanigo, Saturday, 24th October - Grega Bole did not finish stage 5 due to health problems.

Team doctor Simone Uliari informed us about Grega’s condition: »He suffered gastrointestinal discomfort. He could not eat and drink during the race, and not long after the fast and demanding start of today’s stage, he could not follow it, and he stopped. He was empty, without energy. Today’s course was demanding, and the finish line was not reachable in the conditions Grega was.”

Grega Bole was extremely disappointed after he dropped, and he commented: »I am sad that I can’t continue La Vuelta and to help my team-mates. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the stage today. I was not able to eat anything already in the morning and also during the race. I was empty and weak. In those conditions, you couldn’t manage to finish such a stage..«
